Good Story, not so much worth all the hype.
This was the first PS3 game I got when I bought my PS3 at the beginning of summer 2010. I read a lot of gaming magazines and every one of them was praising COD4 as one of the greatest Shooters. To be perfectly Honest I didn't think it was all as good as it was made out to be. There are many much better shooters on the market. The only reason that I have given it a 4 overall and a 4 for fun is because the story is amazing. The sniper shooting is cool were you have to look at the wind to get your target. Also the online multi-player is more than addictive. But because of some of the graphics and the gun play can get a bit annoying it only gets a 4.

Ensnares youth like the pied piper
Bought for my brother for christmas last year and can safely say the only time from then to present he has not been playing it he has been either at school or in bed, for everything else he manages to multi-task it in, something we may have been duped into thinking eluded the male contingent. Apparently not. Or atleast, not when this game is present in the household. Being a non-gamer myself this strikes me as worrying, an addiction, a bad habit, but my brother does not seem to care, as his frantic cries of "HEAD SHOT!" towards the TV could leave one to beleive. If you're a gamer and love this sort of game, I suppose it'll do the job, and if you're a parent and want to shut the kids up, this would be a wise choice. Much furious barking at the TV for kills which the player thought were cheap or just annoying seems to crate the unrelenting release of the word "noob" ensue, but it's a trade off thats inevitable.

Graphical achievement and a great first person shooter
Worth playing just for the amazing story mode and graphics. One of the most accomplished PS3 First person shooters.

This is a game worth buying
I don't want to sound like one of the crowd who refuse to hear anything bad about this game but I must confess that I have very little choice in this case. It's brilliant. Everything that was ever wrong with COD 3 just doesn't figure anymore. For COD three I complained about all the mini films, and how realistic the the weapons were ( or weren't) Now enemies are harder to kill, the guns are incredible and there's even a slit screen mode so I can have enormous fun thrashing my dad in a two player game.
If you are considering getting this game THEN DO SO!!!!

One of the best games i have played in my life.I love the gameplay. This game makes me want to be a soldier.
