Some classic Warioland action with the added twist of well-implemented (and not overdone) motion controls. Although getting through each level is fairly straightforward, collecting all the treasure from those hard-to-reach places will have you scratching your head on a regular basis and completing the 3 bonus missions on each level can be quite a challenge and certainly strengthens the replay value of the game. Lovely looking visuals too - highly recommended if you're after a bit of old-skool platform action.

Wario receives an antique globe and telescope that allow him to travel to the once-idyllic Shake Dimension, now conquered by the tyrannical pirate, the Shake King. With the assistance of his longtime rival, Captain Syrup, he must rescue the Merfles, denizens of the Shake Dimension imprisoned by the Shake King. Only by defeating the bosses of all five continents of this strange world can Wario find and confront the Shake King, rescue Queen Merelda, queen of the Merfles, and, most importantly, claim the Bottomless Coin Sack, a never-ending supply of gold.
- With the Wii Remote controller turned sideways, veterans and newcomers alike can run, jump and smash their way through hectic side-scrolling stages. By shaking the Wii Remote, you can shake down your enemies, free coins from treasure bags and even cause earthquakes.
- Each stage is a masterfully crafted side-scrolling obstacle course of puzzles, enemies and assorted hazards. Every stage holds numerous secrets and treasures to discover (and steal). And each stage has multiple missions to keep you coming back again and again to unlock everything, collect more coins or just improve your best time.
- Wario returns to form, with all the jumping, power-dashing and butt-stomping we've come to expect. This is surly Wario at his finest.

Wario Land is awesome!
This game is one of Warios greatest games. I got it at 7 years, stopped at 8 then started again at 8 and a half and kept playing to 10 years and still think its great! It may not be the best game ever but its one of them so get Wario Land Wii now!

Would have given it three and a half stars if option was there.
Not a bad game. Quite liked the gameplay but it seems a bit outdated because of the 2d scren scrolling action. The kids however both loved it and they are aged 11 to 14. Enough in it to warrant buying if yoy can get it at a good price as there is a lot to occupy you. Just don't expect too much as this title seems as it has warped 20 years into the future!!!

Great OLD SKOOL fun !!!
If you are expecting Mario Galaxy graphics, you will be greatly disapointed. If you are happy with good old 2D graphics that are just a bit better than a Mega Drive then keep reading. Yes, this game is a good old fashioned platformer brought into the year 2000. It doesn't try to do anything new, but just keep the fun of the old 2D games.
The idea of the game is to hunt for treasure and coins so you are able to purchase the new levels. The treasures can be difficult to locate but this adds great replay value.
The wii-mote is turned horizontally in this game and only the d-pad and buttons are required and obviously the 'shake' motion sensors.
Kids will love this game as they frantically shake the controller to make Wario check the money bags for loot. The motion sensor is also used for other things like aiming and controlling vehicles.
I have to also mention the great soundtrack which blends in perfectly with each level.
The only reason I have not given a 5 star rating is the graphics. The playability is brilliant, but for a modern console Ninty should be aiming more for the next-gen look.
I highly recommend this game if you can pick it up under £20.00.

Game game dun for all the family!
I highly recommend this game for all the family. Easy to pick up yet difficult to master. Theres plenty to do, so it will keep you (and your family) busy for many evenings.
Game play is old school with a twist! If you a a Wii thia is a must have.

this game is a hard and fun greatly designed game for any age the controls are simple to use and through out the game it will get alot harder and more challanges i recomend you buy this game its one of a kind. also there are loads of levels so it will keep you buissy and entertained for a while. buy this NOW
