anyone who has played and enjoyed the half life games will enjoy this,when ordered it came within a couple of days a lot faster than the 5 to 7 days that I expected.excellent product and service.

Brilliant
I believe this to be quite simply the best deal in videogame history. I had have paid three times the price for this I still would have not been ripped off. Truly a must own game/compilation.

Simple: a great game
I have been a Half-Life fan since the first trilogy and I looked forward to the further expansions in the series. This product was an ideal opportunity. With the Half-Life 2 game and the two expansions you get a lot of quality gaming time for a lowe price. I love the story and action style but I miss the good old Black Mesa facility from the first three games, but in exchange you can fight your way on the surface, which is cool too. The extra Portal game is an awesome bonus and I can't wait for Portal 2! The multiplayer experience Team Fortress 2 is a beautiful extra but it is not my stuff ( and I haven't seen a lot of people online...).
So overall a great experience and thanks Amazon for the flawless and quick service.

gave me a migraine
The orange box is no doubt value for money and all three games will take a very long time to complete but why would you play a game if it's not enjoyable?
graphics:
In 2010 the graphics really don't cut it. Although portal and team fortress at least add a unique aspect to their animation, half life 2 unplayable compared to such games as assassins creed.
gameplay:
If you are patient (boring and lazy) then im sure you will enjoy the game but you never feel tension or drama which left me feeling bored. For those of you who like fast, thrilling gameplay e.g. COD series....then i would strongly recomend that you DO NOT BUY

*in depth characters
Cons:
*no markers to tell you where to go and no help which left me lost in half life 2
*Terrible control system
*poor shooting system- not like call of duty where you see a scope!!
*dull and frustrating NOT ENJOYABLE
Not worth 1 star but certainly not worth more than 2...a game that is going to appeal to some but only to those, in my opinion, who need to spend more time off the XBOX 360!!

after playing mw2 and bf2 going back to this is just painful, gaming has moved on so far in the last three years i wont go retro ever again .
